      Hello and welcome to Duren DyeWorks and Wool Ranch. Our little piece of paradise is located on 7.5 acres in Calaveras County, CA. We moved to the ranch in the summer of 2019.  A month later, we became the owners of a mama goat and her day old twins. The next weekend, we brought home three Border Leicester sheep; two registered ewes and a ram lamb. In the fall of that year, we added three bred registered Merino ewes to our flock of wool sheep.

      The ranch is also home to our mini fiber mill. We enjoy working together to turn a customer’s wool into a beautiful useable product. 

      Now, a little over 6 years later, the ranch is now home to 51 sheep. Along the way we also acquired numerous chickens and Guinea hens, as well as two amazing livestock guardian dogs.
